Buying project ingedients

Ingedients i like to have/shop/use:
(photo's each item coming and some online links to buy.)

1. Closings, different ways to close and hang jewellery when making accessories as well as clothes.
(kapjes en al die andere)

2. Washi tape and stcky drawer paper. Mostly find them in craft or decoration stores but can also be found online.

3. Cheap fabrics and scarfs. Buy/find them mostly at markets or in tiny shops but ca also be found online.

4. Lots of different colours thread! Always good to be prepared;)

5. Placements...the things you can do with good placemat (mroe to come) bought in tiny local stores but also avalable online.

6. trimming materials and left overs! Buy at local sewing store or marketplace (especcially fo cheap leftovers) or even online:

I want to post some more complicated jewelry as well, but lets start with some fun and really easy bracelets to brighten up the summer even more!:) Needed: elastics (preferable coloured an good looking but even normal elastic or hair elastic will do), charms ( I've mostly used open charms for this example to make a double elastic side but Making a single one is even easier (check anklets) so normal charms work good as well!), caps! soft metal caps to hide knots;) And if you like add beads, use cord with magnetic closing etc. More tutorials coming soon:) Take 1 peace of elastic, pull it through the charm on one side and then on the other side. Now either tie them together at the end, or 1 cm from the charm on both sides leaving a single (more stretchable) elastic in the back. Sweet Dreams Catcher

Easy and super fun to make, with lovely results! <3 Make it in any shape you like and with any material you like just make sure you have so e tiny twinkle lights (i used VISVISS ikea - no they are not paying me to say this..unfortunately;p) and that the shape is big/small enough to at least go around the edges and down three times. For this example i used a placemat i found, but you can also create your own shape with iron cord (see twinkle post  for tips) or make it out of cut outs cardboard or lace! Anyway let's catch some sweet dreams...let's get started:) 1. Lovely shape Create your shape and make sure it can let enough light trough. Then attach the beginning and end of the light string where they need to be. Now you see exactly how much you have left for lighting the shape. From Showercurtain To Raincoat!:)

It worked! I had this idea, that the fabric of a showercurtain might be perfect for a poncho or a raincoat. So, i got a new one, and tried it out! Now, i have to admit it was a lot harder then i thought (mostly because I've never worked with this kind of fabric and I've actually never made a coat or a hoodie before;). But..It works! I'm going to tell you how i did it and I would love to see what YOU make of it! 1. Close the cutains Lay the showercurtain on the floor and fold the top and bottom to the middle. (a little bit more of the top/bottom if it's not trimmed correctly yet, mine had a good bottom and even buttonholes on top so i could totally use it as it was). Then start pinning or (to make it even easier) start taping paper tape on the places where you think you should cut/sew.
