Enchanting Jewel Display



Turn a tray, crate or photo frame in to an enchanting jewellery display!
All you need is:
- Love! ;p sorry bad joke :Y:
- 4 srewable hooks.
- A rope or necklace or elastic or lace or whatever goes the with your style and  idea, as long as it can tightly be attached between the hooks.
- Cardboard or wood or shapable plastic or figurines or hard stickers anything you can think of to create a backdrop and can be made into shapes for holding rings.
- Paint or nail polish and/or sticky paper (the ones you can buy for inside drawers for example) or wallpaper or peace of fabric.


Ok...Let's get creative, Let's get started!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)


1. Preparing
Paint and decorate the outside and sides of box/photo frame/tray(from now on) if needed. Then decide on your background. Use a the sticky paper like me or hand paint a landscape glue a nice fabric on the bottom.

2. Screw this! :0
Try not to screw to close to the bottom so there is enough space for the hook to turn and for your jewellery to be able to hang and swing freely:). Make sure the heights are the same and not to screw too deep (in case the sides are thin) or hammer and nail and then use a thong to make the nail bend upwards.
Now make sure to tighten the material in between the hooks as much as possible so it's not going to bend to much (unless wanted of course).

3. Back to school
Now we get really creative and cut/paste/test over and over again until we have the perfect ringholder shapes. Anything that goes with your theme is fine and for more suggestions check top of this page again. If you want a background then make sure to attach it first. Depending on the material you use for the ringholders (can it stand on its own or does it need extra bottom to glue to bottom?) place or attach the holders in the front or (if possible) inside the bottom.

4. Let it shine! Make it sparkle!
Hang your earrings on the rope and put some rings on the holders to see the end result! If your not happy you can always dis-attach things and adjust! Now hang it on the wall for painting effect or place it on a shelf and don't forget to show it off to whomever is visiting;)

Sweet Dreams Catcher

Easy and super fun to make, with lovely results! <3 Make it in any shape you like and with any material you like just make sure you have so e tiny twinkle lights (i used VISVISS ikea - no they are not paying me to say this..unfortunately;p) and that the shape is big/small enough to at least go around the edges and down three times. For this example i used a placemat i found, but you can also create your own shape with iron cord (see twinkle post  for tips) or make it out of cut outs cardboard or lace! From Showercurtain To Raincoat!:)

It worked! I had this idea, that the fabric of a showercurtain might be perfect for a poncho or a raincoat. So, i got a new one, and tried it out! Now, i have to admit it was a lot harder then i thought (mostly because I've never worked with this kind of fabric and I've actually never made a coat or a hoodie before;). But..It works! I'm going to tell you how i did it and I would love to see what YOU make of it! 1. Close the cutains Lay the showercurtain on the floor and fold the top and bottom to the middle. (a little bit more of the top/bottom if it's not trimmed correctly yet, mine had a good bottom and even buttonholes on top so i could totally use it as it was). Then start pinning or (to make it even easier) start taping paper tape on the places where you think you should cut/sew.
